AHD Calf Rearing Package 2011 

AHD will strengthen its calf rearing package this season with the introduction of D-Scour Paste Protexin range, a liquid Colostrums Preserver and a Colostrums Powder. Celebrating AHD’s 10th year in the Animal Health Market Managing Director, Richard Kettle says the new additional products complement the existing calf rearing package of Calf electrolytes, Iodine Tincture Sprays, Varicide and Virukill disinfectants and two stock Iodine formulations.

 

The D-Scour paste will be an essential tool for any calf rearer to have on hand, a concentrated multi-strain Probiotic with garlic extract the easy to administer paste does not contain any chemical or antibiotic component, just safe ingredients produced by Mother Nature. In contrast the antibiotics used to treat scours don’t just kill target pathogens but destroy beneficial digestive bacteria as well. Protexin is a well proven and respected multi-strain Probitoic that contains a blend of live viable microbes which benefits the host animal by improving the intestinal microbial balance.
