Indication:

Delivers 15.3 MJE. Cows with low calcium, during the first 90 days post calving, have a greater incidence of health problems compared to those with normal to high calcium levels.

Calcium is a fundamental mineral for the proper function of the cow’s body. It has multiple functions:

The most common link to low calcium concentrations in cows is post-calving hypocalcaemia (milk fever). Hypocalcaemia is linked with:

• Prolonged calving
• Fertility issues
• Uterine infections
• Decreased rumen and abomasum contractions

Features:

Contains two sources of calcium:

1. Calcium oxide as lime
2. Calcium propionate, a chelated (organic form) that improves absorption and helps prevent the calcium from interacting with other compounds

Active Ingredients:

1. Calcium oxide (as lime)
2. Calcium propionate, a chelated (organic form)
3. Magnesium sulfate (mgS salt)
4. Molasses, MPG and soya bean oil for a vital energy boost

It also contains magnesium sulfate (mgS salt), like calcium is an essential mineral over the transitional period. Molasses, MPG and soya bean oil for a vital energy boost.

Dosage:  1 litre within the first 8 hours of calving. Repeat if required every day for 5 days. Larger cows and cows showing extreme signs of ill thrift – up to 1.2 litres. Repeat for up to 5 days.  Ensure full dose is swallowed when administered, with a down cow administer slowly in stages to avoid drowning.
As a nutritional supplement and to negate stress for calves, weaners, hoggets and adult sheep 100mls, repeat as required.

Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight. Replace cap when not in use. Store at room temperature. Shake well before use.

Pack Sizes: 1 Litre, 20 Litre and 200 Litre drum.  Full Moon supersedes Over the Moon.

Full Moon is an improved formulation which flows better and the calcium is in an organic form so more available to the cow.
