Description
Colostrum Preserver for calf milk is formulated to inhibit bacterial growth and prolong the useable life of all milk based products used for calf rearing. Will preserve colostrum and calf milk for 3-4 weeks by slowing its normal degradation, preventing foul odours and loss of nutritional value.
Effective for the prolonged preservation of milk replacers, colostrum, whole milk, skim milk, whey and other milk products fed to animals.
The fat, protein and lactose quality of the milk products are preserved and their nutritional value is maintained.
Dosage:
- Mix Colostrum Preserver at the rate of 200ml to 20 litres fresh colostrum milk.
- Add on a regular basis to fresh milk product as it is added to the mix. Separation will occur over the holding period, this is a natural process, regular agitation will assist with the preservation process.
- NOTE: AHD Colostrum Preserver treated milk products should NOT be heated prior to feeding to animals.
